"When Al began training in the Tuesday night class he came with a serious martial arts pedigree and this was clearly demonstrated in the way in which he applied himself to learning a number of disciplines that he had less experience in. For me to take the credit for the way Al conducts himself would be akin to me putting the frame on a lovely painting i.e. I've enhanced it, but the painting was great in the first place."
